Choose a push-to-open or exit button by the command your gate system needs, then check how it connects and where it will be fitted. A wired button, a wireless transmitter and a button-and-receiver kit are different purchases.
Replacing an existing control? Start with its full reference and the receiving controller. For a new outdoor position, check the selected model's enclosure and environmental specification as well as its mounting and connection.

A wired button connects to a suitable control input. A wireless button sends a signal to a compatible receiver, which may be separate. Check the exact radio system, receiver and button power arrangement before ordering.
Normally open and normally closed describe the contact's resting state, not whether the gate is open or closed. Momentary controls return after operation; latching controls remain changed until reset. Match the contact and action to the receiving controller or lock circuit.
Check the available depth, cable entry, back box and fixing method. Choose outdoor equipment from the selected product's stated specification; a metal faceplate alone does not establish weather protection. A replacement faceplate or empty box is not a complete button.
An everyday opening request and an emergency-release arrangement are different requirements. If the project needs emergency release or defined power-loss behaviour, have the complete arrangement specified for the site rather than choosing by the button label alone.
For help identifying a replacement, send us the button and controller references, its location and the action required.
