Do you need a kit, an operator or a canopy converter?

For a new opener, compare the CAME VER Plus kit, BFT Botticelli belt kit and FAAC D600 kit. The listed door sizes, guide lengths and pack contents differ, so choose for your door rather than from the motor name alone.

Already have a FAAC D600 system? The D600 operator 110600 is a separate listing from the D600 B UK kit. If you have a canopy door, the BFT BRTS bow-arm converter is sold separately from the opener. Tell us the door and operator references so we can check whether that converter suits your exact combination.

Will an opener suit my door?

Measure the door's width and height, and note whether it is sectional, up-and-over or canopy. Check how the door moves, its balance and the space above and behind it. The guide rail and any adapter must suit that movement; for example, CAME offers a separate arm for certain partially protruding overhead doors. If the door is damaged or difficult to move by hand, have it assessed before adding automation.

What comes in the pack?

A kit and an operator-only listing are different purchases. Compare the exact guide rail, receiver, transmitters, manual release and door adapter supplied with the version you choose. If you are replacing an installed opener, send us the old operator and rail references; you may need a specific part rather than a complete kit. Browse spare parts for an identified replacement. Metalines supplies equipment and helps with specification; installation and site work are separate.

Want phone control or a way in during a power cut?

Phone control depends on the opener and its accessories. The CAME VER Plus 0U1BCG0001 kit is Connect-compatible, but its Wi-Fi gateway is sold separately. If power-cut access matters, check the manual-release arrangement and whether battery backup is available for your chosen model; these are different things. Tell us if the garage has no other entrance so we can help identify a suitable external-release arrangement.
