Nice L-FAB underground gate motors, kits and parts

LFAB4000, LFAB4024 or LFAB4024HS?

Use the complete reference on the motor, not simply L-FAB or a similar-looking underground casing. The Hi-Speed version should be assessed against its own operating limits rather than treated as the standard motor with a faster setting.

These motor and controller pairings appear in Nice's L-FAB instruction manual, IDV0532A00EN. If you are replacing a controller, send us its model and the motor label so we can check the options for your installation.

What is included in an L-FAB kit?

Compare the exact kit reference and contents, including motor quantity, foundation boxes, release assemblies, control panel, receiver, remotes and photocells. Do not infer single or twin contents from a family photograph. A motor-only listing does not include the complete kit, and a standard LFAB4024 package should not be confused with a Hi-Speed package.

If you already have a confirmed motor or part number, use the matching product listing. Where an older kit or panel is unavailable, ask for a current supply check rather than assuming another L-FAB-labelled item replaces it.

Will a different underground motor fit my existing box?

Compare the foundation box, drive connection, release and controller together. Nice's M-FAB, L-FAB and other underground ranges can look similar, but their parts are not chosen by appearance or brand alone. Send us the full references if you are unsure which box or part is installed.

For a new installation, assess leaf width and weight together using the selected variant's limits. The manual gives different application curves for standard and Hi-Speed models and warns that conditions such as strong wind affect suitability. A single headline capacity is not a complete specification.

L-FAB manual and parts help

Keep the motor manual and the separate controller instructions. For a release, key, travel component or other spare, use the part reference and drawing rather than identifying it solely from a photograph. Send us the motor and controller labels and an accessible part photo if you need help; do not open powered equipment to obtain them.
