Will my control board fit this enclosure?

Check the exact board and enclosure versions, fixing positions and internal space—not just the outside dimensions or brand. Allow for the actual terminals, cable routing and any specified transformer, power supply or backup assembly. A “medium” box from one range is not necessarily equivalent to a medium box from another.

Our range includes differently named FAAC E, L and LM housings, and CAME/BFT cases and cabinets. Keep the full product reference when comparing them; the family name alone is not a fit guarantee.

What is included with an empty control box?

  • Check whether a backplate or chassis plate is included and whether the board needs its own mounting parts.
  • Confirm the lid, hinges, seals, lock, key and fixings listed for that specific product.
  • Check cable-entry accessories separately; a product photograph is not a contents list.
  • A lock, lid or other enclosure accessory is not a complete replacement cabinet.

Which enclosure can I use outdoors?

Choose a housing with an environmental rating suitable for its location and the equipment inside it. The seals, lid and cable entries must also be fitted as the manufacturer specifies. If you need to drill or alter the case, check how that affects its stated protection before ordering.

Should I replace the box or the complete control panel?

If the old box is damaged, the electronics may need attention too. Ask a competent person to check a panel affected by water, impact or overheating before reusing its board. They can also check the mounting and connections when fitting a replacement case.

What if my enclosure is old or unidentified?

Retain the board model and any housing reference. Safely obtainable photographs and measurements can help us investigate a case, lid or accessory; they do not establish an automatic replacement. Unavailable old references must be checked rather than replaced by the nearest-looking current box.
