Answer on a screen or on your phone?
An indoor monitor gives you a fixed place to see and speak to visitors. If you also want calls on a phone, choose a kit that supports that service for the exact monitor and entrance panel you order. A separate camera panel is not a complete intercom kit.
Which CAME BPT system do you already have?
CAME XTS 7 WH WIFI (840CH-0030) belongs to X1/XIP systems, while XTS 7IP WH WIFI (840CH-0060) belongs to IP360. If you are replacing a screen, send us the reference on the old monitor and panel. For a new system, the CAME BPT MTM/XTS video kit offers selectable call-button versions; choose the version for your entrance and check the contents shown for that selection.
Can you use a network cable, or do you need mobile service?
Where the entrance has the right network connection, explore the AES Opyn IP/PoE kit. Where the design uses a mobile network, compare the AES Opyn 4G kit and check its SIM and service requirements. A 4G intercom still needs power and may need cables between its components.
One home or several?
For one home, choose whether you want an indoor monitor, phone answering or both. For a shared or business entrance, count the people or properties visitors need to call, the entrances and the places where each call should be answered. Then choose the call-button arrangement, monitors and supported phone accounts for that exact system. Compare the selected kit's contents with your plan before ordering.
Will it open the gate or door?
Video calling lets you see and speak to visitors; a keypad or card reader lets authorised users enter without making a call. A suitable video intercom can also send a release command to compatible gate or door equipment. Tell us what controller or electric lock is already fitted so we can help match the connection and power supply. If users need their own entry method, compare keypads and card and fob readers. Check the selected kit contents for any separate lock, controller or interface.
What comes with the kit?
Check the selected variant for its entrance panel, monitor, power equipment and mounting parts. Phone answering, extra monitors, gateways and mobile service may be separate. If you only need to replace a part, send us the references and photos of the existing panel and monitor; browse BPT parts, Videx parts or the wider intercom parts range.
