Christmas Dispatch Dates – Brand-Specific Notes to Watch Out For

To help you plan your orders over the Christmas period, here are the key dispatch dates and a few brand-specific details that may affect lead times.

Metalines dispatch: our last dispatch before Christmas is Tuesday 23rd December. We close at midday on Wednesday 24th December and reopen on Friday 2nd January, with dispatches resuming from 2nd January.

Brand-specific dispatch notes:

• CAME: some CAME products have an earlier cutoff — last dispatch is Friday 19th December, and dispatches don’t restart until Monday 12th January (even though the office reopens on 2nd January).

• NICE: some NICE items stop dispatching earlier — last dispatch Friday 19th December, then dispatches resume from Monday 5th January.

• BFT: many BFT items are fine right up to Tuesday 23rd December (last dispatch), with dispatches resuming from Monday 5th January.

• Gatemaster: last dispatch Tuesday 23rd December, then dispatches restart from Monday 5th January.

• FAAC: standard deliveries have an earlier cutoff (last dispatch Monday 22nd December). If you’re selecting a premium delivery, the last dispatch is Tuesday 23rd December. Dispatches resume from Friday 2nd January.

If you need delivery before Christmas, we strongly recommend ordering as early as possible and choosing in-stock items where available. If you’re unsure whether a specific product is affected, reply to this email and we’ll confirm the most accurate dispatch expectation.

Carrier Service Delays (Christmas Period)

Please note that delays are already being experienced across the delivery network. Our carriers DHL, Royal Mail, and DX have all advised that regular service may be disrupted over the Christmas period, with some deliveries taking longer than usual due to seasonal demand.

We’ll dispatch orders as quickly as possible based on the dates above, but once parcels are with the carrier, delivery times can’t be guaranteed. If your order is time-critical, we recommend ordering early and allowing extra time for delivery.
