The Gatemaster Superlock BDGW is a premium combination lock designed for wooden gates, featuring keypads on both sides for secure access from either direction. With a fully mechanical design and robust stainless steel mechanism, this lock is surface-fixed, making it easy to install on almost any timber gate.

Key Features

  • Corrosion Resistant: Manufactured with marine-grade keypads and a powder-coated die-cast casing to withstand harsh weather conditions.
  • No Power Needed: The mechanical keypads require no batteries or wiring, allowing for versatile installation anywhere.
  • Adjustable Latchbolt: Customize the latchbolt length to ensure a perfect fit for your gate.
  • Auto-Latching: Close the gate, and the latchbolt automatically secures the gate into the frame. Enter the code on either keypad to open.
  • Keypads on Both Sides: Provides secure access from both sides of the gate. (Also available with a single keypad and rear handle if required.)
  • Inward or Outward Opening: Suitable for gates that open either inward or outward.

Gate Thickness Compatibility

The BDGW lock is compatible with gates of various thicknesses. Ensure you select the correct fixings based on the table below:

Gate Frame Thickness Fixings Required
20mm – 45mm Standard fixings (included with the lock)
45mm – 75mm Standard screws + M5 extenders (included)
75mm – 120mm Screws from BDGWE140 kit (sold separately)
120mm – 140mm BDGWE140 screws + M5 extenders (sold separately)

The minimum gate thickness for this lock is 30mm, but it can be installed on gates as thin as 20mm without extenders. For gates thicker than 75mm, additional extension kits are required.

Product Handing

This lock is available in two configurations to suit the handing direction of your gate. Please refer to the product images or watch our handing guide video for assistance in choosing the correct option:

  • BDGWL: Left-handed, keypads on both sides
  • BDGWR: Right-handed, keypads on both sides
