Garage fob
I received my fob in good time but unfortunately I haven’t been able to twin it with my existing one. I have tried ringing your contact number for assistance but the number is unavailable. This means I cannot use the fob and would appreciate some feed back. Jean Coulter

Came - Frog AE motor and foundation pit
The Came Frog AE 240v system was installed in 2005 and was maintained under an annual maintenance contract with the original installer. The LH motor failed in 2018 due to loose attachments to the foundation. Both the replacement LH foundation pit and motor were installed by our gardener. who replaced the inadequate soakaway drainage with a new positive piped drainage system thus ensuring clean dry conditions for the motors. The control panel and the gate capacitors failed in 2019 and were replaced and it was decided to purchase a replacement motor and associated foundation pit as a spare so that the necessary equipment is on hand if the RH gate motor fails after 15 years service.The lessons learned are that the Came Frog AE equipment is robust and performs well in all weather conditions. However. the foundation pits must be properly drained at the outset and maintained regularly to ensure that the pits are clean and dry. the holding down bolts and gate stops are tight. the spindle is greased and the control panel settings and gate operation ed at least every 6 months.From experience. Metalines service has been prompt and competetively priced and knowledgeable staff have been able to advise on replacements.
