The CAME GARD LT4 is an automatic barrier designed for passage widths from 2.5 to 4 metres. It uses a 24 V DC motor with encoder and Advanced Speed Control to monitor the forces applied to the boom and adjust movement during opening and closing.

The barrier is tested for intensive use up to 300 cycles per hour and has a mean number of cycles between failures (MCBF) of 1.5 million cycles. The maximum opening and closing speed is between 2 and 4 seconds, depending on the boom length.

The ZL392-C control board is positioned beneath the upper cabinet cover and protected by an ABS cover. It provides configurable command and safety inputs, accessory and LED strip outputs, a radio receiver connector and terminals for an external keyboard or RFID reader. The board also includes a CAME KEY slot, MEMORY ROLL support and serial ports for CONNECT technology, combined or interlocked barriers, and Modbus protocol integration.

The barrier uses a single balancing spring that can be connected at different predefined points to accommodate different boom lengths. A folding aluminium downside skirt is available in modular 1,721 mm sections, with a rubber stopper and two connection brackets.
