Replacing a CAME FROG motor or planning a new underground gate? Start with the full reference on your existing motor and controller. FROG-A, A24, AE and A24E are different motor versions, while FROG-X is a separate range. If you need a foundation box, release part or complete kit instead, the choices below will help you find the right starting point.

Check the complete motor code. FROG-A24 is a 24 V motor; FROG-AE is a 230 V motor with an encoder. CAME also has FROG-A and FROG-A24E versions. The suffix matters as much as the voltage, especially when you are keeping the existing controller.
FROG-X is a different CAME range. If you are considering a change from an older FROG installation, send us the motor and controller references, along with details of the foundation box, arm and release. We can help identify what you have before you choose between an individual replacement and a redesigned system.
The motor drives the gate; its underground foundation box supports the installation, and the release lets you disengage the drive when required. Browse foundation boxes if the case or lid is the part you need. For a FROG-X release, see the 801XA-0030 release system. Use the exact reference from your existing equipment when replacing any of these parts.
Opening-angle accessories such as A4370, FL180 and the FROG-X 801XA-0040 belong to different arrangements. Find the motor and foundation-box references first, then use the matching CAME drawing to choose the arm or accessory. The same applies to chains, encoders and internal parts.
A kit suits a new gate or a planned replacement of the whole system. If you are repairing an existing installation, you may need only an identified motor or part. Check each kit listing for the number of motors and boxes, the controller, remotes and safety devices supplied.
Allow for ground works, drainage and access for future maintenance. The gate's dimensions, weight, condition and exposure all affect the choice of automation; an installer should assess the complete gate and its safety requirements.
Not sure which version you have? Email sales@metalines.com with photographs of the motor and controller labels, foundation box and release, taken while the gate is safely isolated. We can help identify the parts to check.
