Good Price & Helpful Staff. Delivery one day late.
Ordered a BFT replacement motor. Staff helpful and price good. Informed by text of delivery date the following day. No delivery arrived which fortunately only caused me minor inconvenience and further text saying delivery the following day which was correct.
Good quality kit. hard to set up but got there in the end.
I would definitely advise if this is your first time installing an electric gate system to have someone help who is knowledgeable on the subject. I am a maintenance manager for a large self catering property in the East Midlands. I undertake all sorts of tasks daily which require a lot of experience and diy skills. I took on the job of installing the CAME KRONO-S5S Gate kit on my own. it took me around 3-4 whole days to get it working properly. The instructions are absolutely horrendous. I ended up having to call CAME Technical and they talked me through on the phone for about 20 minutes. once I had done this the gate system started to work (finally) I have to say though without the call to CAME. I would have probably ended up either kicking myself. or kicking the gate system! It was very frustrating. The sensors were very straight forward to wire and so was the power. motor and aerial. One thing to note is. you need a special type of coaxial cable for the aerial which is not included in the kit (I bought mine from Maplin) as this was the only place I could find it from. The price from CAME themselves is beyond a joke. but this is to be expected. I have to say. you will not find a better price on this Kit as Metalines do seem to be the most competitive. the delivery was very quick and efficient. Next time. I will probably go for a more DIY install kit as I do believe this particular kit should be left to the professionals.
Easy to use
Instructions are not great. you need to match the switches with the original fob but works perfectly once this is done.

Came Gate
I brought this item and it was not in stock. I must say the issue was fixed very quickly and i was very happy with the porduce and the level of communication.
