Damaged Photocell

Unfortunately, someone managed to drive into one of our gate posts and totally destroy one of the gate sensors. A quick search on Google and the part required was identified. A bit more research showed thta Metalines had the sensors in stock (you have to buy a pair as one is a transmitter, the other a receiver). The sensors are currently on offer at circa £70 plus postage. This equates to a 40% discount on the usual price.
Sensors were ordered and then received soon after - great service. It was a relatively straight forward job to replace the destroyed sensor (transmitter, so a few more wires to disconnect / reconnect). Although the other sensor wasn't damaged, the sensors obviously didn't talk to each other, so a quick swap of the other new one and, BINGO!!! Gates now operating as they should.
In summary, great price, great service and delivery, and a straight forward, no hassle job.
