Looking for a BFT kit? Start with how your gate moves: swing gates open on hinges, while sliding gates travel sideways. For a swing gate, decide whether you are automating one leaf or a pair. Then compare the exact motor and equipment included in each package.
If you already have BFT automation and need a replacement motor, board or part, browse BFT products and spares or send us the reference from your existing equipment.

Still deciding between brands or gate layouts? Start with our broader swing, underground and sliding kit guides.
PHOBOS is a linear electromechanical choice; KUSTOS uses an enclosed worm-screw design. GIUNO is hydraulic, while IGEA's articulated arm is a different mounting approach. No family is best for every entrance. Compare the gate's dimensions, hinge position, wind exposure and expected use with the exact model drawing before narrowing your choice.
For example, compare our PHOBOS BT A25, PHOBOS AC A25 and GIUNO ULTRA BT A50 packages. They use different motors and control arrangements, so compare the selected package's operator quantity and included equipment rather than choosing by the family name alone. BFT's current gate brochure shows how leaf width and weight limits are coupled for each operator.
D-Track is BFT's dynamic path tracking: a torque-management feature that adjusts motor thrust using feedback as the gate moves. It can respond to changing operating conditions, but it is one feature of the chosen model, not a substitute for assessing and commissioning the complete gate. Check the exact operator and controller specifications if D-Track matters to your project.
BFT uses these names for different operator and control-system versions. For example, IGEA BT is a 24 V motor, while IGEA is a 230 V motor. The motor voltage is also separate from the incoming supply to the complete system. Keep the full model suffix when choosing a kit or replacing a motor or board, and compare the included controller for the exact package.
Single and twin tell you whether a swing package is intended for one leaf or a pair. The actual contents vary: compare motor quantities, controller, receiver, remotes, photocells and mounting parts on the selected listing. Sliding packages may need additional drive rack; underground packages may need boxes, releases or linkages. Intercom or video bundles can add entry equipment without changing the motor itself.
Start with the full reference on the old equipment, including its suffix. An ORO or IGEA system may need a replacement operator, control board or spare part rather than a whole new kit. BFT's manual library can help identify the version; you can also send us the reference and clear photographs for help finding the right route.
Tell us the width and approximate weight of each moving leaf, hinge and post measurements for a swing gate or full travel and rack layout for a sliding gate, plus the opening angle, wind exposure and busiest periods of use. Our gate survey form is a starting point. Metalines supplies and helps specify equipment; we do not carry out site visits, installation or repairs. Your installer will need to assess and commission the finished powered gate.
Use the full model and part number, including any suffix, when comparing a new kit, motor or spare with equipment already installed. If the label is unclear, send us a photograph and we can help identify it.
For a single or double swing gate, compare PHOBOS, KUSTOS, GIUNO and IGEA packages in the product grid above. The right kit depends on each leaf's size and weight, the hinge position and how the gate is clad. Tell us about the gate if you need help narrowing the choice.
For a sliding gate, compare DEIMOS, ARES and ICARO packages by the finished gate weight, travel and use. We can help check the motor and rack arrangement against your gate before you order.
