Buying a new FAAC system or replacing a part?
For a new gate, browse our FAAC gate kits or choose a motor to suit the gate's movement, size and use. If you are replacing equipment, the model name alone may not be enough: send us the full number from the motor and control board so we can help identify the right version and what can be kept.
What do FAAC 415 L and LS mean?
The 415 L is the longer-stroke version for a different gate geometry. LS identifies versions with travel-limit devices; the range also includes 24 V and 230 V operators. These are choices to make when selecting the operator, not interchangeable accessories. See the FAAC 415 range, and contact us with the complete existing reference if you need a replacement.
FAAC 400 CBAC or SB?
These are different hydraulic versions. CBAC has hydraulic locking in both directions; SB is non-locking. The right choice depends on how the gate should hold shut as well as its size and installation. Explore the FAAC 400 range, or send us the full code from an existing operator so we can narrow down the replacement.
Is a 740D board the same as a FAAC 740 motor?
No. The 740 and 741 names refer to sliding-gate operators, while 740D identifies a control board used with an earlier generation. FAAC also lists a newer 741C with an E781S LC board. Start with our FAAC 740/741 range for motors and kits, or control boards if you need the board itself. Match the exact generation and board reference before ordering a replacement.
