More about CAME BK and BKS motors, kits and spares

BK, BKS or BKX: which name is on the label?

BK, BKS and BKX are different ranges. CAME describes BKX as a 24V brushless range. If your label says BKX800 or BKX1200, send us the full code so we can help identify suitable equipment rather than selecting a BK part by name.

If the motor says BX, continue to our CAME BX range.

Why does the electrical supply need checking?

The full variant matters. For example, CAME lists BKS22TGS, code 801MS-0130, for a 230/400V three-phase supply. That differs from a single-phase motor even if both descriptions mention 230V. Ask a competent installer to check the supply and control arrangement before choosing a replacement.

Motor, kit or component?

  • Complete operator: confirm the included control equipment and what the existing installation can retain.
  • Kit: check the itemised package, including the receiving and safety equipment, rather than assuming a motor listing contains it.
  • Internal motor, gear or pinion: identify the exact part and applicable operator version.
  • Board or capacitor: use its full electrical and part specification, not gate weight or the BK family name as a match.

Can I reuse the existing rack?

Ask your installer to compare the pinion and rack specification, mounting alignment and travel limits with the proposed motor. A chain-conversion component is a separate drive arrangement, not a piece of rack.

What if my old BK reference is no longer listed?

Email us the exact motor label and photos of the accessible part. We can help identify a current part or replacement option for your installer to assess.

For the next step use CAME boards, automation spares, complete gate motors or CAME products and support.
