More about Gate warning lights

Which gate warning light should I choose?

For a replacement, the simplest starting point is the exact reference printed on the old light. If you are choosing one for a new installation, check these details with the control-board instructions:

  • Power: the specified voltage and whether the output supplies AC or DC.
  • Connection: how the control board switches the light. A manufacturer BUS light needs its supported controller connection.
  • Position: where the light will be seen and which bracket or base suits that location.
  • Extras: whether an antenna or other accessory is included with the exact model.

Which CAME KRX version do I need?

There are several KRX lights. CAME lists 806LA-0050 / KRX1B1RW as an RGB light using BUS CXN; it has a different connection from the conventionally powered KRX1FXSO, KRX1FXSW and KRX1FXSY models. CAME lists the 806LA-0040 wall-fastening base separately. Keep the full code when replacing a light or ordering a mounting part.

Will a newer light replace my old one?

Check the old light's supply, controller connection and mounting before choosing a new model. This is especially helpful for older KIARO, RADIUS, FAAC LED and Nice ML/EL lights, where the name alone may cover several versions. Send us the old reference and a photograph of its label if you would like help narrowing the choice.

Does the flashing light include a radio antenna?

Some lights can be used with an antenna, but the light and radio equipment have separate specifications. Check the exact listing for what is included and which receiver system it supports. If you need a separate antenna or cable, see our gate receiver antennas.

Need a bracket, base or cover instead?

This range shows complete warning lights. For a damaged cover, wall bracket, base or protective cage, send us the full light reference and a clear photograph of the part. We can check whether a matching replacement is available; an accessory for one KRX, KIARO or RADIUS version may have a different fixing from another.

What if the light flashes but the gate will not move?

Record what the light does and the control-board reference, then check that controller's instructions or ask a competent engineer to assess the system. The flashing pattern may have a model-specific meaning. A warning light indicates gate activity; the protective equipment for a moving gate is a separate choice. Browse gate photocells if that is the part you need to replace.
