Speak to visitors at your gate or entrance without needing a camera. Choose where you want to answer first: an indoor handset or answering unit, a local cordless handset, or a phone through a mobile-network intercom. These use different connections, so “audio” alone does not tell you which installation you need.
Browse audio kits below, including BPT and Videx options. Need to see visitors? Compare video intercom kits. Replacing an existing handset rather than buying a system? Start with intercom parts and identification.

No. The route between the entrance and answering point matters. Buildings and other obstacles can change the usable range. For example, AES describes its 603 audio system using different open-field and through-wall conditions. Tell us about the distance and obstructions so we can help assess the equipment; a headline range is not a site guarantee.
These are different requirements. Give the number of independent properties, entrance panels and answering devices needed at each property. Several handsets answering one home do not automatically provide separate calls to several households. Compare the exact configured kit, not just the number of buttons or the word “way”.
Check the selected entrance panel, answering equipment, power equipment and mounting arrangement. Confirm whether a keypad or other access option is included or optional. Gate automation and door-lock equipment are separate unless the chosen package explicitly includes them.
For a replacement rather than a new kit, use BPT handset and component identification or Videx intercom parts. Match the installed system and full reference before choosing an alternative. If you are still deciding which kind of system to use, return to all intercom kits.
